About

Hi, I’m Lance.

I help dogs and their people feel calmer, more confident and more connected — one practical step at a time.

How I got here

Like a lot of trainers, I got into this because of one dog. [Dog’s name] was [a nervous rescue who barked at everything that moved], and I tried everything — most of it didn’t work. What finally did was learning how dogs actually learn, and meeting them where they were.

Since then I’ve [trained dogs for X years / worked with X+ families] across [CITY / AREA]. [Add any relevant background — shelter work, fostering, an apprenticeship, a past career that shapes how you teach.]

These days, my favorite part of the job is the moment someone tells me a walk felt easy. That’s what I’m here for.

Training philosophy

How I train

  • Behavior is communication

Barking, pulling and jumping all mean something. We figure out the why first, so the fix actually sticks.

  • Teach, don’t punish

I use reward-based methods [confirm] to show your dog what to do instead. It’s kinder, and it builds trust between you.

  • You’re half the team

I coach you as much as your dog, with skills that fit your real routine — so progress keeps going between visits.

  • Real life, real places

We train in your home and on your streets — where the problems actually happen.
